I am currently using neutrogena purestay pressed powder foundation and MAC blotpowder overtop. However, my face still gets pretty oily, which is not the most attractive thing. I did try MAC studiofix and it took care of the oil, but it has light-reflecting shards in it that made my skin %26#039;sparkly%26#039; which was really not cool. Any good suggestions??? Also, am i doing the right thing with using pressed powder? I%26#039;ve heard that liquid foundation is bad for oily skin. THANKS FOR HELP! :)|||i have the same problem. i use revlon colorstay liquid foundation formulated for oily skin. i set my foundation with a powdered one; i use everyday minerals. mac blot powder is good too. try using a primer before foundation. i use smashbox photo finish light which is for oily skin, but it%26#039;s pricey. there%26#039;s a weird product that girls use to keep oil back on their face.. it%26#039;s monistat anti-chafing gel. you can get it at any drug store. i know it%26#039;s weird but it works exactly like smashbox and costs about $5. if price is an issue u might want to try it. other face primers u can get at drugstores are: revlon and rimmel. good luck!|||liquids can be fine for oily skin. it depends on your skin.
And your skin may be dehydrated. What kind of products do you use to clean your face? When people have oily skin, a lot of times it%26#039;s because they are overwashing their face or being too harsh or not moisturizing enough, which can cause excess sebum to be produced.
Otherwise, have you tried pure silica powder? It%26#039;s the stuff that%26#039;s in that HD powder by Makeup Forever. But if you tried that and it worked, don%26#039;t buy it, just go online and buy silica powder for less than 5 dollars for 1 POUND!|||I have really oily skin and I%26#039;ve always like Clinique SuperFit (I think that%26#039;s the name, but you can ask which one if for oily skin to make sure!).
Recently, I%26#039;ve been wearing Maybelline Mineral Power liquid foundation and I really like it, too!|||Play around, sometimes the cheaper stuff is better.
Also, try using a powder rather than foundation, you don%26#039;t have to stick to this, but I would advise it ;]
