How can I get rid of white spots on my skin?

My arms (mostly) have these white spots on them and I%26#039;m not sure if they are sunspots or not. I do get a lot of sun, though.|||hey! my mother used to have those too and she used olay shower gel soap and creams now shes like new!!! hope that helps!|||medicine
