If you have low blood sugar does that cause your skin to turn light white where you touch it?

When I touch my skin it leaves a finger mark where I touch for a quick second. Is that bad or am I just giving myself a anxiety attack?|||That has nothing to do with your blood sugar levels.|||Blanching of the skin when pressed is normal. It is caused by the capillary blood supply being physically pushed out of the capillaries.

What is relevant is how long it takes to return to its regular color.

There are lots of factors that can make capillary refill time extended like poor circulation, hypotension, cold weather, etc. but in general capillary refill time should be 2 seconds or less.

Stop smoking anyway though!|||This is not the sign of diabetes. Think good to have good or check for other symptoms of diabetes|||Yes,

He is correct this is has got nothing to do with your blood sugars.

Better get checked by the doctor.
