I have an oily t-zone, but every where else on my face is fine. And i was wondering if using dream matte mousse will make my face appear more oily.|||I wouldn%26#039;t recommend it...It%26#039;s probably a little better to use a liquid finish foundation so if you need to use powder on your t-zone during the day/night your make up won%26#039;t looked caked on.|||No , it%26#039;s not a good for oily skin .
I have this kind of foundation ,a nd to tell you the truth it reallly isn%26#039;t very good .
The foundation is oil based so if you have oily skin it isn;t a good idea . I would suggest that you buy a different kind of foundation , one which isn%26#039;t a creme foundation , and some powder.
So if you want to hide oily skin you have to put on a really light layre of foundation on . Just around your eyes , your forehead , nose , and chin . Use your foundation sparingly in these areas.
and then go over your face with a powder based translucent foundation . This takes the shine away from your face .
Hope I helped :)|||For me i have combination skin. I find that dream matte mousse works really well for people with oily skin as it looks more natural whereas if you have dry skin, it will show up in the dry patches which looks really gross. I find that when i first put it on, it gives a matte finish but at the end of the day, the foundation %26#039;mixes%26#039; with the natural oil in my skin and it gives me a nice natural finish which i really like.
Oh and it does not make my face appear more oily|||Ive used it. I am down with oily skin %26amp; oily T-Zone.
It clogged my pores.
Maybe not suitable for my skin.|||no dont use it. dream matte mousse will make your face appear more oily. i have the same problem as you do. u need a oily free make up or 50 % water.|||I think yes!Me too oily skin but dream matte mousse by mabelline make my face appear more oily! I hope you will find a right answer!!!|||I have a oily t-zone, too. but the other parts of my face are sometimes dry so i use it on those parts and it works like a charm.
I use that everywhere but on my nose and between my eyes(t-zone, as you know) because it just makes it more shiny %26amp; oily.
I use the powder (mabelline dream matte-powder) on that spot instead and it still looks good.
been using it for like 3 months and i all i have to say is use it sparingly or you%26#039;ll look fake, and try your best to get a color that is closest to you. don%26#039;t put to much on.
= )|||That kind of mousse makeup is oil based. What you can do is use a mineral powder, and then as you notice your skin starting to get oily, use some blotting papers. They come in a small case that you can keep in your purse. This will keep your skin from looking shiny from oil. Remember to use a good toner on the T-zone after washing your face, and believe it or not, lightly applying lotion in that area will help reduce the amount of oil your skin naturally produces because it will already be moisturized.|||It%26#039;s okay, feels light and is something different however if you dont touch up during the day, your face will become oily and dry at the same time --its really weird. To touch up, use oil blotting papers or regular tissue papers and blot it, dont wipe it. The colors of dream matte mousse is not that great though I would have to say, everyone looks more natural with yellow toned make up and this will either make your skin look too pale or too dark due to their small range of colors. If your looking for something for oily skin, try MAC. It truly is the best brand at a great price because the other great brand is Benefit or Bobbi Brown, both are which way more expensive than MAC. Foundation color is definetly the only makeup you want to match and be careful about because it puts your whole face together and you dont want to look %26#039;made up%26#039;.. if you take pictures and your using a foundation that doesn%26#039;t match, it definetly shows|||I have oily skin and I have used that mousse before and it works okay.
What I find works the best is Bare Essentials or any kind of powder like that ( a lot of brands like maybelline have products like that now ). It can soak up the oil and really makes my face look even without at all looking like i am wearing make-up. Which is something that is a must for me.
But the mousse should be okay, its not very thick or heavy.|||Ive used that, and i didnt get very good results. MY skin is sortof dry/oily and it looked very caked on and gross.
