How to make my skin look great?

I have dry skin, that also tends to be blochy, and I have some acne. I%26#039;m trying to find some way to make my skin look fresh and glowing, with no acne, without buying soaps, or make-up, etc. Anyone know some quick easy ways to make my skin clearer and look better?|||Drink plenty of water. If you are well hydrated, that will be reflected in your skin. Use a good quality moisturizer (that won%26#039;t aggravate your acne) for the outside, and you should be set.|||Like every one with dry skin I recommend Moor Spa products try the rejuvenating mosturiser it has.

Allantoin from the herb comfrey which is has been used traditional medicine to help with skin disorders and psoriasis.

Anti oxidants which have soothing and anti inflammatory properties.

It should clear up your dry skin and the Allantoin and Anti oxidants in vitamin E are said to be good for problem skin.

I absolutely love silver skin onions in vinegar ( from the jar ) but dont have a recipie to use them in?

something easy preferably. you can also get these little guys pickled, you know the ones mmmmmmmmmmmmm|||I love these little onions too (not the pickled ones, though).

When I serve these, I usually carmelize them a bit in the oven and serve on warm bread.

They have a lot of flavor on their own, so the recipe is very simple

I don%26#039;t have an exact recipe because I just make it as I go along, but this should be close:

1 loaf french bread

1 serving silver skin onions

balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon Earth Balance (you can use any butter or margarine)

salt and pepper (to taste)

parmesano/reggiano cheese if desired (I don%26#039;t usually use this)

In a bowl, mix the chopped onions, balsamic vinegar, and Earth%26#039;s Balance

Put the mixture on a cookie sheet, heat in the oven on 450 about 15 minutes - watch for the onions to start to carmelize

Slice the bread as desired, put the onion mixture on top and add salt and pepper

Place bread face up in the oven until warm and slightly crisp

If desired, sprinkle some cheese on top.

How do I prevent skin problems I get from weight lifting? Is this normal?

I started lifting weights and doing push ups and I started to get really dry and itchy skin on my biceps.

Also, I started using these forearm grips and the skin on my knuckles started to get really dry, hard and scaly, like reptile skin. It even started to bleed a tiny bit because the skin was tearing.

Is this normal? I%26#039;m starting to get worried.|||Your skin is just dry. Try using some moisturizing lotion (unscented) and put that on your dry areas of skin a few times a day. Also try to drink more water through out the day, especially because you are working out.|||Hey(:

I agree with %26quot;Scott%26quot;

That%26#039;s perfectly normal but just remember to wash up after each work out.

The weights and floor may be a bit dirty.

So, work out(: wash up then moisturizer

you may also want to try Vaseline. (it does wonders with dry skin) I promise

I hope this helped

xoxo Jenna|||It sounds like you are developing calluses on yr knuckles fr Weight lifting, %26amp; the rest of your skin is dry. If it is bleeding you need more than just a moisturizing cream, you may need to get cream with hydrocortizone in, some pharmacies carry over the counter creams. However you may need a prescription for a stronger formulated cream (just for the cracked/bleeding areas). Ask the pharmacist for a good strong moisturizer as well for the other areas that are dry.

I have really fair skin and big dark brown eyes and freckles with DARK brown hair, make-up color tips?

I always wear black mascara because i have really long eyelashes and a thin line of eyeliner. i like that shimmery look as well but idk how? tips please?|||i love make-up!! you should try shimmery shadows.

brown eyes go well with greens and purples to brighten them while brown shades make it look more natural. depending on the look you want. try two shadows such as a a pretty purple and make it look smokey by applying just a touch of black shadow or a darker purple at the outer corners. it makes it look real dramatic! i am going to school for make-up and i did this on my cousin.

http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e316/a鈥?/a>|||I%26#039;m kinda the same my skin is more of an Ivory(on my face) but I do have really dark Brown auburn hair and freckles. And this is my daily make-up routine.

1) As soon as you wake-up pat your face with lukewarm water.

2)Pat your face dry.

3)Now work on your skin with concealer (over acne, cuts and, bumps)Powder(over everywhere even your eyes just close em%26#039;)and bronzer (preferable sometimes on those rainy days I like to look a little Edward Scisorhands A.K.A. no bronzer)

4)Pat some light dream blush mouse in %26quot;pink%26quot; only on the apples

5)Then take a lip brush and drag a carmel gloss over your mouth in a cupid-bow shape

6)mascara only on the bottom.

Hope it helped

|||WOW! I cant believe how similar you are to me. dark browns for the outer eye lid and shimmery- creamy colors on the brow and inner eye lid. let me give you an amazing tip for the next time you apply your mascara_ buy the brand %26quot;Loreal%26quot;...it%26#039;s called %26quot;voluminous.%26quot; Once you%26#039;ve done that, start applying the mascara to the roots of your eyelashes. then, get the brush, and roll it on the top of your eyelashes starting from the root to the tip. finally, dip your brush in the bottle....you know how when you pull the brush out of the bottle and you have a %26quot;string%26quot; of mascara at the end of the brush? well youre going to put that mascara on the outter end roots of your eyelash...it %26quot;fills in the blank spots.%26quot; i sincerely hope you were able to underdtand what i ment. its hard to explain it over the web =? welp, good luck to ya +)|||i%26#039;d say brown eyeliner is your best bet, not black, cause black can look too severe. you can probably do either for mascara. for school or something, do neutral colors like brown, and you can buy shimmer eyeshadows at drugstores like cvs... just dont do too too much shimmer because that looks ridiculous!!

for night/something fancy, you can use darker colors or a bold color like blue or green (in moderation PLEASE, no on like to see blue eyeshadow up to your eyebrows!)

luckily you have brown eyes so pretty much all colors match!|||well u dont really need mascara if u already have long lashes (that%26#039;s the point of mascara)

for the shimmery look, focus on eyeshadow b/c shimmery blush looks too over the top (even for fancy occassions)

almost all eyeshadows are shimmery/glittery but u need to look at all the colors

try going to the mall and testing them (it%26#039;s free %26amp; helpful)

don%26#039;t wear neon-y colors b/c that%26#039;s too over the top (ie hot pink, rlly dark colors, bright colors, etc.)

focus on the neutral, warm, and earthy tones

use colors like silver, light gray, baby blue if u want color (stay away from pink), rlly light purple will work as well, light brownish colors

colors like that

u can also use darker colors if u want a mysterious or elegant chic look

try a thin layer of black, darker gray (not too dark), midnight blue, mixing silver with a bit of black works too

if u don%26#039;t like these options the best u can do is go to the mall and test colors at the makeup counter b/c u dont want colors that%26#039;ll contrast too extremely b/c then it%26#039;ll look tacky

hope this helps

also, if u need coverup then try the mall

go to prescriptives (it%26#039;s the sister company of estee lauder)

their coverups are really good and give u alot of variety from shimmery powders to basic powders to liquid coverup

(for the powders u need a special brush they sell to get better coverage)

for blushes, try mac

they have stuff like lipstick/gloss, eyeshadow (but u can get that from target), and blush (i think they have coverup as well but stick to prescriptives cuz it has minerals in the coverup as well)

my blush color is peachy pink but u should have urs tested out (same w/ coverup) b/c everyone%26#039;s skin is a different tone

again, hope this helps :)|||try to match your skin tone with a foundation. try white eyeshadow just below the brow and in that little area between your eye and nose.

use a light eyeliner to make you eyes pop.

|||i love the shimmery look, too.

:)

i use black liquid eyeliner with a VERY small like of silver or gold eyeshadow over it to make it shimmer.|||try a very dark brown around the eyes that will make you look %26quot;sexy!%26quot;

How is the ppd skin test being measured?

My son got a negative x-ray but his PPD tested positive, doctor measured the rash that appeared on his forearm and it says 12mm.

A doctor friend told us the raised/elevated portion should be measured, but in my son%26#039;s case, the diameter of the rash was measured and not the elevated portion.

What is the correct way of measuring the rash to say it%26#039;s positive?

|||They test it differently - but that stupid test is miss-read so much. The best way to test for TB is a quantiferon blood test. However, they aren%26#039;t free.

Good news is he most likely has latent TB if he tested positive to the skin test and has no signs in the chest X-ray. Latent TB is not contagious, has no symptoms, and he will otherwise be 100% normal. Latent TB means he came in contact with the bacteria but his body walled off the attack; did not kill it. That is why he tested positive in the skin test. There is medication to kill the bacteria, but it is a pill, daily, for 9 months.

something like 1/4 people have latent TB and only 1/10 turn into active TB from there. People who have latent TB are at a higher risk than people who don%26#039;t, but still very low.

Latent TB isn%26#039;t dangerous unless the patient has some kind of disorder that lowers their immune system, such as the HIV infection.

But back to your question - people read the blister, not the rash.|||It is suppose to be the raised bump, NOT the red area. I have to get a test every year being in the health care business. Have had one for over 18 years.

http://www.ehow.com/how_2330328_read-tb-鈥?/a>

Skin tests should be read between 48 and 72 hours after the injection when the size of the induration is maximal. The health provider will look at the area of the PPD injection to see if any localized swelling has occured. In addition, the diameter of the induration will be measured and recorded in millimeters.|||the diamater of a raised portion is what should be measured, simple redness is not a positive test, but raised redness of %26gt;5mm is positive|||it should have been measured for the width and ht of it.Good luck

What's the best way to treat nose spots left from wearing glasses? Is treatment the same for all skin color?

I see that someone asked this question 6 months ago but there were no satisfactory answers. Anyone out there who had these spots but saw improvement from some kind of treatment? Thanks in advance!|||First of all you will have to stop wearing glasses and start wearing contacts or occasionally wear them if you need to.

Also those spot if not deep down can fade away in 4-5 months.

To lighten it you can apply lemon juice + water (1:1) ratio.

I believe there might be only two spots and it%26#039;s far more safe to let them fade away naturally then go for some unnatural treatment.

But if you still want you can visit a skin specialist who might prescribe some cream.|||After cleansing the face at night before bed and drying,Use a light fade cream at night and a light moisture cream during the day,you should see results immediately...Hope this helps!

How to treat my skin well for the future?

This question can be answered by anyone but it would be helpful to have some older people answer =]

Should I be careful with the skin under my eyes, wear sunscreen often, eat certain foods, etc.? What should I do so that I don%26#039;t have really bad skin when I get older?

Thanks in advance ^_^|||You should always wear sunscreen of at least SPF 15. It%26#039;s better to be higher, but at least put on SPF 15. Eating the right foods always helps. For example, fruits and vegetables. And plenty of water.|||Definitely, protecting your skin now will keep it looking great into the future.

Probably the most important thing is to always wear sunscreen. Over sun exposure is one of the main causes of aging, and can even put you at risk for skin cancer. Try getting SPF 60 or higher (they have it in baby sunscreens.)

Make sure you drink plenty of water, and fruits and vegetable are good too. Foods with Omega-3s, like fish, are also good for your skin. Weekly exercise is of course very healthy for not only your skin, but the rest of your body as well.

As for skin care, go natural. Harsh chemicals will wear it out, which isn%26#039;t healthy. Try to use very gentle cleansers and moisturizers, maybe with Vitamins C, D, and A. It%26#039;s also good to GENTLY exfoliate once a week. This softly removes dead skin cells, to keep your skin glowing and young-looking. Also, you could try finding things with Retinol in them, which is used in many anti-aging creams and lotions. You may think you%26#039;re too young for anti-aging products, but they will condition your skin today and keep it looking young. It%26#039;s better to prevent now than to try and rewind later.

Along with the right skin care and a good diet, you%26#039;re skin will stay great looking for a long long time.

Good luck!|||i think that the best way to treat your skin well for the future, is to use blackhead clearing astringent. you just put it on before bed every night, and in the morning if you want, and it cleans your pores and removes blackheads. and it also helps prevent zits.

trust me, it works really well.

you can buy this stuff at a drug store, or even wal-mart. like, its pretty much everywhere.

How to stop my skin from peeling?

I%26#039;m using Proactiv and now the skin on my face is kind of peeling a little. What can I use or do to stop it?|||That is a normal reaction when applying an acid based medicine to the skin.

The easiest way to remover the peeling skin is to splash on hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for a minute or two.

The hydrogen peroxide will soften the peeling skin to allow it to be rubbed and rinsed away.

(hydrogen peroxide is a safe wound cleaner that is used by fire fighters, paramedics, doctors, etc.. Also, it does not burn like alcohol does. It works by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with substances such as blood, anti-bacterial soap, etc..)|||Use a really good moisturizer, and stay out of the sun for a while until it heals better because the sun makes it all worse. How long does a blister last? From the start until the skin falls off?

I%26#039;ve had many blisters, but sorry, I cannot answer. I have never let one run its course from liquid filled blister to uninjured flesh. I have always busted, drained, and medicated them, (not always medicating, but triple antibiotic helps greatly).|||It really depends on what kind of shape your body is in and what you eat. Dark green veggies have nutrients in them that heal cuts and other skin abrasions quickly. So if you are a vegetarian with a diet high in these types of foods this should heal up within a week. If you don%26#039;t watch you diet and eat more junk type foods on the run it could take upwards of 2 weeks. There are other factors at play here but this is really the number one issue on this point.

How does exfoliating effect skin allergies?

I have skin allergies to dust mites and was wondering if exfoliating my skin would effect this allergic reaction? What is the best powder/foundation or basically makeup for oily skin out there?

I have oily skin, especially t-zone and I%26#039;ve tried a lot of oil-free, dermatologist recommended makeup and all still pretty much give me that sweaty looking oily skin and it%26#039;s not exactly attractive. Any suggestions? I do use Tazorac (a Retinoid) every night for my now very slight acne which is known to make your skin dry but my skin adapts to almost anything and eventually just goes back to being oily! *sigh*|||My skin is super duper oily, like it%26#039;s ridiculous. What I did was change my entire skin care regimen. I used to not moisturize because I was convinced it would make me oilier, WRONG. It helped me a lot and made my skin condition much better.

1. Don%26#039;t sleep with make up on.

2. Cleanse face morning and night.

3. Use a nonalcoholic toner after washing your face.

4. 2-3 times a week, use a exfoliate after washing face.

5. Then moisturize.

6. Finally, put any acne medication on.

I use bare minerals and it works great. I use blotting pads too though!|||Neutrogena moisturizer, it%26#039;s a myth that people with oily skin don%26#039;t need a moisturizer but really the body will try to fix the problem on it%26#039;s own if you don%26#039;t use a moisturizer, hence the oil.

My skin gets oily in the summer, yet in the winter it is dry. Bare Minerals also offers a %26quot;primer,%26quot; which is a bit pricey but well worth it. What the primer does is drink up extra oil as well as getting rid of any dry skin flakes.

but everyday minerals is less expensive|||Pancake powder.|||i would suggest getting like a clinique foundation in powder|||to get rid of oil use MAC blot powder, I swear by it.|||I have the same (or similar) problem. My advice is to make sure to wash your face every morning and night - never sleep with makeup on or it will break you out. Use a gentle scrub a few times a week - not every day. You want to exfoliate and clear out your pores, but not over stimulate your pores to excrete more oil.

Make sure to moisturize with a moisturizer meant for oily skin, or else it won%26#039;t really work well especially under makeup. Use one with some sort of SPF (depending on who much sun you expect to get during the day). The sun can not only increase your risk of skin cancer and age your skin, but it can also stimulate your skin to produce more oil.

Try using a foundation primer meant for oily skin. Smashbox has one called PhotoFinish Light that%26#039;s meant for oily skin - and there%26#039;s a few more out on the market. They are a little $$ but well worth it because they do help your foundation to last longer.

As for the foundation itself, you can use mineral foundation. A lot of ppl with oily skin swear by it. There are also liquid foundations on the market (if you need more coverage or just prefer liquid) that are specially designed for people with oily skin. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation for Oily/Combo skin is great, but make sure you wash all of it off your face at night, or else it will clog your pores. Rimmel Stay Matte Clarifying Foundation is great also as it%26#039;s designed for oily skin and has salicylic acid in it to keep skin clear. They don%26#039;t seem to have a huge selection of colors, but if you can find your shade, then it works great!

Also, don%26#039;t forget to blot during the day with an oil abosorbing sheet like one from Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, or ELF (eyeslipsface.com). Although the products you wear will help cut down on oil production, they can%26#039;t completely change the way God made your skin.

From my experience, I used to get oily skin an hour after applying makeup. When I changed up the regimin to encorporate things specifically designed for oily skin, I found that after about 5 hours, I%26#039;d need to blot and then my make up would last an additional 5 hours.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

I%26#039;ve heard it said or suggested as a joke that you could use those magazine inserts/samples as a quick way to get a fragrance on you but would the glue be hazardous or unhealthy? Does anyone know if a heavy moisturizer is good for combination skin?

Right now I%26#039;m using a light moisturizer which is good for summer but my face is really dry now. I don%26#039;t know if it would clog my pores or if it would help.|||First when you wash your face DO NOT use soap. Use Noxzema. It will help balance your skin and give it a healthy look and feel. Next if you must use a moisturizer then try just a small amount in your driest areas so you do not clog pores. Try the Noxzema first for a week and see if that doesn%26#039;t help.

Good Luck!|||Heavy moisturizer would not be good if you have any degree of oily skin. Just use the heavy stuff around your eyes. My Mom and her sisters always used Ponds (a very old product) and all of them had great skin.

Pacemaker and its wire being able to be seen through the skin?

Is it possible to see the pacemaker once it is inserted, through the skin? What about its wires? Or is it only possible to see either the pacemaker or wire, not both? What might be the reason for the cause of this situation?

If this is possible, then how do we resolve this problem? Do we need another surgery to make it so the device can not be seen? Or just wait it out?|||There is nothing to worry about, in females this cosmetic reason is always taken in consideration. So relax, although it%26#039;s difficult.|||Some people don%26#039;t have alot of body fat and so you can see the outline of the pacer. I have never seen anyone where you could see the wires though.|||Yes you can see or feel the outline of a pacemaker through the skin after it is inserted. The wires themselves though should be under a layer of muscle tissue and then into the heart muscle itself.

If you can feel the wires, do not touch them as you do not want to be dislodging them. You need to have the sight evaluated by the doctor who placed the pacemaker.

Good luck.|||What difference? I have a defibrillator and you can feel it under the skin. Big Deal.

Not only will that reduce the sores but you%26#039;ll be able to put foundation over the top.|||Have a bath and as soon as you get out paste on the moisturiser leave it for a couple of hours and it should be better! Is it okay to give my dog a little vegetable oil in his food to improve coat shine and dry skin?

I do feed a very high quality food called Neutro and is very expensive. I buy the one to help with skin and coat.|||Fish oil is probably the best but a tablespoon of any good quality oil will work well to improve coat quality. Once the coat improves reduce the frequency of the addition of oil. An occasional egg will help too.|||The one who told you NOT to do it is one of THE MOST EXPERIENCED people on this board-and knows what they%26#039;re talking about. Nutro IS a crappy food (google it) it%26#039;s probably why your dog needs a supplement. Stay away from canola or vegetable oil, and be on the lookout for diarrhea (common with oil). Report Abuse
|||I%26#039;m sorry but Nutro isn%26#039;t really a GREAT food. It%26#039;s... okay... but ONLY the Ultra formulas, and SOME of the Natural Choice formulas. NEVER Nutro Max.

And BTW... that stuff is CHEAP! It%26#039;s not expesnive!!!!!!!!!!! Report Abuse
|||That%26#039;s fine, as long as it is not every day and in moderation. Otherwise, it will act as a laxative. The best kind is fish oil as it contains a lot of Omegas which promote skin and coat health. You can also feed eggs once in a while (at most one or two egg yolks, not whites, once a week) which do wonders for skin and coat.

Something random I discovered and was okayed by my vet is the use of a product called Ferretone. I have ferrets, and discovered my dog absolutely loved the taste of this stuff. It%26#039;s designed specifically to make ferrets%26#039; coats and skin healthier, and as they are carnivores, it%26#039;s safe for dogs, too. It%26#039;s best to buy the liquid in a bottle and drizzle over food, than to buy the treats, as those have corn syrup in them. Just something I thought I%26#039;d suggest, but be sure to ask your vet about anything like that before trying it.

Make sure you%26#039;re brushing, trimming, and bathing your dog appropriately. If there are any rashes, lots of dandruff, or other irritations going on, take your dog to the vet, as it may have allergies. Food allergies to grains and chicken are very common.

It%26#039;s worth mentioning that Nutro is a good food, but there are better brands out there such as Wellness, Natural Balance, and Fromm which may make your dog%26#039;s coat look a lot better than Nutro. Nutro also has a lot of filler--not as much as say Pedigree--but there are corn products, and that%26#039;s always a no-no. On the adult lamb and rice, for example, the first ingredient is lamb meal followed by three or four rice products and/or other carbs (peas I think?). This means that food is NOT mainly meat-based, and dog food should always have meat listed in the first 2 (preferably 3 or 4) ingredients...

Sorry for the really long answer, lol. Hope this answered your question though.|||Nutro isn%26#039;t such a great food...it%26#039;s been recalled more than once in the last few years, and has quite a reputation for causing vomiting-many people claim Nutro has actually killed their dogs. For less money than the Nutro, you could feed Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover%26#039;s Soul-higher quality and cheaper. Other great choices would be Innova, California Natural, Healthwise, Canidae, Merrick, Prairie, or Solid Gold. With the California Natural that I feed my dogs, I no longer supplement at all. If you need to add to your dog%26#039;s food, your vet can sell you a product by Virbac (Efa-Z) to help with adding vitamins and oils, or you could give your dog fish oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, or any number of over the counter supplemental oils (like Lambert-Kay Shed Relief). Many oils will help the skin/coat, but I%26#039;d stay on the side of healthy...look for linoleic acid in the nutritional information, and stay away from hydrogenated oils and ones containing trans-fats...they are no more healthy for dogs than they are for us. If I had to recommend a single thing to add to the dog%26#039;s diet, it would be fish oil, followed by olive oil.|||Fish oil, sunflower oil, and olive oil are the only things I would recommend. Vegetable and canola oil aren%26#039;t really that great. Olive oil is proven to lengthen human life, so I%26#039;m sure it would be good for your doggy too. Sunflower oil will really shine up that coat, and fish oil is rich in omega 3s. Good luck.|||Sunflower oil is great for dogs coat and skin, be careful, too much and your dog will be pooping all over. Most super premium dog foods have sunflower oil in them.

I use a supplement called %26quot;Dinovite%26quot; and has done wonders for my dogs%26#039; coats and skin, I have three Australian Shepherds.|||Probably fish oil is best. I always just gave my lab a little regular margerine every day--maybe a teaspoon. And an egg every 3 or 4 days. She got a really shiney, soft coat when I went on weight wathchers and gave her the extra veggies, too.|||I would recommend feeding a high quality food rich in protein and healthy fats. If a dog is fed a proper diet it will naturally have a healthy coat and skin.|||I give my dog a couple of beaten eggs and a bit of garlic every now and then and her coat is really glossy. I don%26#039;t know about the oil as it may have a laxative effect?|||As well as giving your dog oil, you should consider changing his food. The dog food which you are using contains rice which is grain and grain creates acidity within the blood, hence the dry skin.|||My dog had really dry skin and the vet suggested putting fish oil on his food to help his skin and coat. Its very healthy for them, it not only helps their coats but their skin as well. Good luck|||yup, it think it should be fine. I even read from this article that doing this twice a day is just fine.

What do all of you use for your daily skin care regime? Please provide step by step instructions. I%26#039;ve read that a cleaner, moisturizer, toner, etc are needed. Anything else? What order do you apply these things and what brand do you use? Thanks.|||1st - wash your face with a good cleanser, I prefer organic-based products, being that their free of harmful chemicals, and alcohol.) Make sure while washing to do your hands in upward circles. You always want to make sure you do it this way being that tugging down on your skin can damage and wrinkle your face.

2nd - Apply a toner. There are 2 application types. One is a spray that you mist your face with, the other you apply with a cotton ball. Let this soak into your face,

3rd - If using an eyecream apply in a patting motion around the eye. Be sure not to tug harshly this is the most delicate area of skin on the body.

4th - While the toner is still dewy (the above the same) Put a dime size amount of moisturizer on the upper part of fingers (from the middle knuckle to the tips) run your hands together making sure to only get the fingers then apply to face in the same circular motions as with washing. I don%26#039;t completely rub mine in, I leave it slightly and let my skin naturally absorb it. Don%26#039;t forget to do the same with your neck (but use swipping downward motions here)

This is very basic. The type of product you use will depend on your skin type and age. Cleanser, toner %26amp; Moisturizer should be customized for your skin type. If you have problematic skin, then products should be adjusted.

If you are over 35 you should be using an anti-aging line.

Eye Gel should be changed to an creme, 15SPF day time moisturizer is a must. Night Time moisturizer need to be a night repairing complex. Products should contain peptides.

In my way over 50 years of living I have tried many different product lines, from drugstore products, to department store cosmetic counter products, to home show products, to boutique products. 7 years ago, I found Aloette. I have never been more impressed with a skin care line. A few years ago the Platinum anti-aging line was introduce, and it is awesome. Products do not just sit on the cuticle of your skin. They actually work their way down through every skin cell layer you have to treat, nourish, moisturize all of you skin cells. That makes such an enormous difference in the look, feel %26amp; health of your skin.

FACE CLEANSING

The most important physical aspect of our body-it looks back at you looking dry, or oily or listless or the way you make it i.e.: glowing and radiant.

Start by giving yourself 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at bedtime.

The weekends can be used for longer treatments.

Lets start with the cleansing routine.

Tips 1:

Take 1 tbsp of un-boiled milk, dip a small pad of cotton wool in this and rub on the face gently. Use circular movements, use upward strokes on the neck area. Leave this on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water.

Tips 2:

Take a thick slice of cucumber. Don%26#039;t peel the slice, rub in a circular motion all over the face and neck areas. Wash after 15 minutes.

Tips 3:

Halve a tomato, gently rub over face and neck and wash after 15 minutes.

Tips 4:

Take the half of a lime peel, from which the juice has been extracted, rub this firmly on the face and the neck. Using a Scrub-(once in 3-4 days).

After washing off the milk or juice - take a tsp of oat bran or wheat husk or gram flour (besan). Make a paste with a few drops of water and rub the face and neck gently with this. This sloughs away the dead cells and gives the face a glow. Don%26#039;t use soap, just splash on cold water that will act as an astringent and close the pores.

Tips 5:

Use green gram powder or rice flour mixed with curds instead.

Oily Skin: If the face is oily,

After a bath as a base for make-up use some diluted limejuice to dab on before application of foundation or any other make-up.

Tips 6:

Diluted buttermilk dabbed on the face and left for 15 minutes, gently wipe with moist cotton wool before applying make-up.

Tips 7:

Rub the face well with an ice cube.

Tips 8:

Slice an Apple into thin slices. Place these on the face and leave for 15 minutes. These soak up the extra oil and helps to close pores.

What is the best liquid foundation for oily acne prone skin?

What is the best brand something not too expensive that I can purchase at ulta or a drug store...|||If you%26#039;re going for drugstore stuff, I have two general recommendations for you. Why is the skin on my face the darkest even though my entire body has equal sun exposure?

The skin on your face is the thinest, so it is more affected by the sun%26#039;s rays. You have larger pores on your face and less fatty tissues, too, which also contribute to this.

These reasons are also why your facial skin might not have as dark a tone as the rest of your body.when not exposed to prolonged sunlight. Also, if you wear more sunscreen on your face than elsewhere when going out into the sun, then it will be more protected and get less UV exposure. And if you wear makeup and/or wash your face more than the rest of your body, then this is another factor to paler skin. Kinda like a hierarchy with %26quot;whites%26quot; at the top and %26quot;blacks%26quot; at the bottom.|||People use the terms %26#039;white and %26#039;black%26#039; to differentiate clearly... though i too have wondered many times why do people have to use the terms white and black.

My hair and skin are always greasy in the morning?

Even though I take a shower and wash my face before I go to bed, whenever I wake up my hair and skin are always oily. Any suggestions?|||Firstly using substances derived from vitamin A like retin-a or tazarotene, to reduce inflammation of the skin and to unplug pores. Retin-A can cause skin reddening at first but this is quite normal as the skin%26#039;s blood supply is improved and younger looking skin begins to appear presenting a youthful complexion. Using a product that includes zinc will also help the vitamin a function better.

How do I get rid of dark spots on my skin?

Before, I only tanned everyone once in a while and my skin was relatively healthy. However, I got a job as a lifeguard last summer and was stupid in not wearing sunblock everyday. How should you skin, gut and thoroughly cook rabbit?

so my father and i watched the episode of man vs. wild, and we were just wondering how you should skin, gut, and cook a rabbit. we aren%26#039;t going to be just doing it for fun, we love animals, but i mean we were just curious as to how we should do it if it ever came up, i mean i%26#039;d imagine it%26#039;s not really like gutting a fish right? we just want to know if we need to, we can be prepared to do the right things.|||Usually gourmet butchers have rabbit etc for sale.

Ask their advice, even better get them to do it for you.

%26quot;Jugged%26quot; is a popular way to cook a prepared rabbit.

I%26#039;m sorry I don%26#039;t have a recipe for it just google and I%26#039;m sure your question will be answered.

Good luck.|||It%26#039;s not very hard. Most normally hit them in the back of the head behind the ears to stun them. The the rabbit%26#039;s neck is usually broken by either a quick snapping hand movement or by placing the rabbit%26#039;s head in between the person%26#039;s shoes and pulling up on the back legs until the neck is dislocated.

The rabbit then is usually hung from the back feet by two nails on a board that spread the back legs open. Their is an opening between two of the bones in the back legs just above the rabbit%26#039;s hock or back foot that is best to hang the rabbit from. Then the rabbit%26#039;s head is normally cut off. Skinning normally starts working from the feet down to the head. The skin is either cut away by pulling it tight and cutting gently betwen the pelt and meet or by pulling it off after enough of the skin has been cut away. Sometimes the rabbit is wetted down before skinning to keep stray hairs from getting on the meat. Then the rabbit is opened up and gutted after being skinned. After being skinned and gutted, the back feet can be cut off and the skinned rabbit placed under cool running water to clean it off of hairs and to wash the blood off. If wanted, it can be cut up into pieces then.|||KILLING THE RABBIT IS EASY GRAB IT BY THE BUTT AND HEAD DOWN, MOVE IT%26#039;S EARS TO THE FRONT AND WACK IT IN THE BACK OF THE NECK WITH A HAMMER OR HEAVY OBJECT SO IT IS INSTANT,

CUT THE TROAT OR THE WHOLE HEAD OFF AND HOLD IT DOWNWARD TILL IT STOPS BLEEDING, CUTT OFF ITS FEET AND SIMPLY PULL HIS SKIN OFF, IT TAKES 2 PEOPLE TO DO THIS BEST, BECAUSE YOU DON%26#039;T WANT TO GET THE HAIR ON THE MEAT.

ONCE YOU SKIN IT SIMPLY GUTT IT LIKE THE FISH. BEIGN CAREFUL NOT TO CUT THE SMALL SACK STUCK TO THE LIVER.

THEN YOU ARE READY TO COOK HIM IN ANY WAY YOU WANT.

I%26#039;M SORRY IT SOUNDS VERY HARD BUT IT IS THE MOS HUMANE WAY TO DO IT IF YOU HAVE TO EAT RABBIT.

GOOD LUCK.|||Ask a mortician|||I have a pet rabbit I would be happy to donate.... (mostly just kidding)
