Does the skin on a fish have any nutritional value?

I love fish, I eat a lot of it, but always wondered if the skin that%26#039;s on it has any nutritional value. Are there any added omegas in there?|||Fish skins are healthy but I wouldn%26#039;t make a diet of it.

I did a research and I found these two types of fish skins

1) the fish skinActinic keratosis

Aging changes in skin

Allergy skin prick or scratch test

Allergy testing

Basal cell carcinoma

Birthmarks - red

Cellulitis

Circumcision

Cutaneous skin tags

Dry skin

Fair skin cancer risks is healthy as it contains omegaOmega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids-3 fattyXanthoma acid.

2) the fish skinActinic keratosis

Aging changes in skin

Allergy skin prick or scratch test

Allergy testing

Basal cell carcinoma

Birthmarks - red

Cellulitis

Circumcision

Cutaneous skin tags

Dry skin

Fair skin cancer risks is not healthy as it absorbs all the pollutants in the sea.|||first of all a fish has scales not skin i would say it doesn%26#039;t have any nutritional value but if you are willing to try them i would thoroughly soak the fish as you don%26#039;t know where that fish has been in the ocean may have been near poo or anything for that matter.

hope this helped

:)

Xx|||The skin of the fish actually has most of the good vitamins and essential fatty acids. Lots of people don%26#039;t eat it, but they are losing out, it%26#039;s where the most of the omega 3%26#039;s and vitamin E is. So yes - it%26#039;s got a ton of good stuff in there :)|||the skins are actually a really nutritious part of the fish. Most people just don%26#039;t like the silky texture.

It has tonnes of vit E, and omega 3 fatty acids|||There is actually a layer of fat just under the skin that like all fish fats is high in omega-3 fatty acids.|||its mostly fat, so if you need to stock up on calories for some sort of strenuous work then it is helpful for that.|||Yes actually it does it helps eye sight etc..|||probably not|||for the fish it does|||idunno but cod liver oil is good for you.|||nope :D idk|||yes
