What causes the skin on my stomache and upper legs to be the same color as an egg plant?

I had a laprascopic vaganial assisted hysterectomy last Monday. I had intrnal bleeding and received a transfussion. At first I had bruses where the incisions were. Now the %26quot;bruses%26quot; seem to be spreading across my abdoman and down the upper part of my leg. It does not hurt. My doctor does not know what is the cause|||well i don%26#039;t know what it can be but here%26#039;s a differential diagnosis you may want to rule out. Ask you doctor about Cushing%26#039;s Syndrome. People with Cushing%26#039;s have tendency to have purple colored striae on their abdomen. since i don%26#039;t know the exact look of your skin on your abdomen, this may be completely wrong, but it shouldn%26#039;t hurt to ask =) good luck..hope this helped
