I tend to use a bit of concealer and top it off with powder to cover blemishes and acne on my face. I remove it thoroughly every night with an oil-fighting cleanser. I heard that cover up, especially powders, can make your skin age faster. Is this true, or should I use less make-up?|||It%26#039;s NOT true. Don%26#039;t listen to whoever said it, but if you don%26#039;t clean it off overnight, chances are, your pores will get clogged and pimples might start popping up.
As for skin aging, it has proven that the sun is responsible for that 90% of the time and the other 10% is based on your lifestyle and diet.|||Powder will not make your skin age more quickly. Photo-damage from UV rays is the main source of aging. Powder can possibly make you look older, if it is settling into lines or dry patches.|||No makeup will not age your skin. Wearing heavy makeup can give you the appearance of LOOKING older but it does not affect your skin as long as you wash correctly everynight.
If you%26#039;re worried about skin aging use sunblock everyday. I highly recommend Colorscience Sunforgettable...you can purchase it from amazon.com and it%26#039;s a mineral powder sunblock so it doesn%26#039;t clog pores or make your skin greasy.|||I don%26#039;t think that%26#039;s true. It%26#039;s just powder. Why would that do anything to age your skin?
I wouldn%26#039;t worry about it.|||i dont believe so, but do try to use a bit less of powder to see if u can still cover the peroblem areas up without using too much.
