What types of skin care products should I use?

I am 23 years old and I have had acne in my T zone since I was teenager. I have combination skin, mostly oily on the T zone, and I%26#039;ve used Spectro Gel since high school but it doesn%26#039;t seem to be working very well these days. I%26#039;m looking for good skin care products to use and how often to use them.|||You need to take care of your skin in many ways other than just using skin products.

Limit time in the sun. Try to stay out of the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Use sunscreen. Look for a sunscreen with an SPF (sun protection factor) number of 15 or higher.

Wear protective clothing. A hat with a wide brim can shade your neck, ears, eyes, and head.

Avoid tanning. Don鈥檛 use sunlamps or tanning beds. Tanning pills are not approved by the FDA and might not be safe.

As far as products go, there are 2 that are approved by the FDA, Renova (tretinoin emollient cream) and Carbon dioxide (CO2) and Erbium.|||Use cetaphil oily skin cleanser- its the best

dont neglect the moisturiser. One of the main reasons people break out is when their skin is too dry- it tells the oil glands to produce more pore-clogging oil. The trick is to buy a moisturiser that is designed for combination skin. I think nutrogena makes one.

Have a look at you diet-what are you eating? Make sure you eat plenty of fruit and veg (go for 2 and 5), wholemeal grains, proteins and dairy foods. Healthy oils such as olive oil, tuna, salmon and avocados should also be added to your diet as well. Fatty foods such as cake, biscuits, chocolate and lolleys should be occasional foods (once or twice a week, not everyday)

Make sure you get at least thirty minutes of exercise every day. Switch it around to make it interesting, but you should break out in sweat everytime. This will help to clean out you pores. Try jogging, team sports, swimming, jumping rope or even an aerobics dvd!

avoid heavy makeup, as it clogs up your poors. Replace your foundation with a tinted moisturiser, and dont cake it on!

Be patient. Follow the steps above and youll be on your way to having clear skin in no time. good luck!|||Avon carries a great line of skincare products called %26quot;Clearskin%26quot; which was clinically proven to be just as effective as Proactiv Solution. Step 1--deep pore cleansing scrub, step two--clarifying toner pads, and step three--daily correcting lotion. The products are used both morning and night and are extremely affordable compared to other well-known brands on the market.

Also, the Clearskin System has been endorsed by Dr. Cheryl Karcher, a board-certified, nationally recognized expert in aesthetic medicine and consulting dermatologist to the titleholders of the Miss Universe, Miss USA %26amp; Miss Teen USA.

Last but not least, Avon gives you their 100 percent satisfaction guarantee--your money back if you%26#039;re not satisfied, even if the container you%26#039;re returning is completely empty.|||Recently I had a skin problem , dark spots, the dermatologist told me it was nothing serious so I purchased a lotion at Avon and put it regularly. The skin problem is almost history.

My advice, if this is nothing serious buy products from well known companies and use them as the directions tell you, be regular .

And above all keep your skin clean and watch what you eat.

Good luck!|||I suggest that you check out either Murad or Danne Montague King skin care ranges. They are expensive but really excellent. You should go to a beauty therapist so she can tell you what products you need to get. A friend of mine had acne on her face and chest and it was quite bad. She went to a DMK salon and got 6 facials and then the at home products and her acne was completely and totally gone in 4 months and now she has flawless skin.|||* if you can afford it, buy some facial cream from l%26#039;occitaine. its expensive, but really good, really freshions the skin.

* eat heaps of bread. it makes you regular, thus clears your system, and the rest of your skin, of toxins.

* drink heaps and heaps of water.
