How to stop my skin from peeling?

I%26#039;m using Proactiv and now the skin on my face is kind of peeling a little. What can I use or do to stop it?|||That is a normal reaction when applying an acid based medicine to the skin.





The easiest way to remover the peeling skin is to splash on hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for a minute or two.





The hydrogen peroxide will soften the peeling skin to allow it to be rubbed and rinsed away.

It works by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with substances such as blood, anti-bacterial soap, etc..)|||Use a really good moisturizer, and stay out of the sun for a while until it heals better because the sun makes it all worse. You should use REALLY GOOD moisturizer if it is actually peeling. Also go off of proactive for a while...it might be making it worse! If it doesn%26#039;t get better in a week, see a doctor for better info about how to heal it!|||Since you are using proactive. You have to use an oil free moisturizer. It helps reduce acne and soothes skin i highly recommend aveeno baby .yeah i know it%26#039;s for baby%26#039;s but it still works. it worked for me. I saw a huge change in my skin. Try it. IM not promising immmediate results. stick with it for a while.|||buy the moisturizer it really works....did u just recently start using it? give it some time...the skin needs to get used to a new product.|||You%26#039;ve got dry skin, just use a moisturizer daily.|||ummmm................ well u should put some other ointment on your skin.|||The acid in the treatment you are using is causing this. It is to be expected and it will go away on it%26#039;s own after a while.

You can exfoliate to get rid of the dry, dead skin. You can use sugar, salt or cornmeal mixed with a little water or olive oil.








This treatment is a natural fix.





Combined with the acne treatment you are using - it may not be a good idea. You should not mix too many [different] treatments together.|||I was using Proactiv too and i got that around my lips. You can either get a really good moisturizer or switch to a lower dose of benzoyl peroxide. If you can go to the dermatologist, they can give you a sample of lotion or something. Thats where I got this lotion that works amazing.
