How to find the right shade of makeup for my skin?

I want to buy CoverGirl Aquasmooth makeup for my face, but I always have problems finding the right shade for my face.

How can I find the right shade of foundation for my face? I know there are those plastic things you can match to the color on your wrist, but my face isn%26#039;t the same color as my wrist. |||i swear i answer a question like this everyday and its always the same.

go to a makeup store/booth. MAC, Smashbox, Dior, Sephora etc. personally i don%26#039;t trust those %26quot;cosmetic counter%26quot; girls at drugstores. They%26#039;re just girls who like or are interested in makeup. anyways, go to a place like I%26#039;ve described...tell them your skin type and how much coverage you want/need. they%26#039;ll help you find a type of foundation and coverup that%26#039;s perfect for you. **you don%26#039;t need to buy from them**. if you can afford it, of course go for it. i%26#039;m not familiar with alot of other stores/booths but MAC has a great return policy you can return something within 30 days..THIRTY WHOLE DAYS! for a full refund. so if you can afford it, keep the bill try it for a week or so if you hate it you can always return it. if you love it..you%26#039;ve found your match and know what you need now.

if you can%26#039;t afford to buy it at one of those places, put a bit on the back of your hand. listen to all the suggestions they give for your needs. now go to the drugstore and find a similar product!

alot of women and girls don%26#039;t know how to match themselves to a shade, its nice to have the objective view of a MUA who is experienced and does this kinda thing daily.

and don%26#039;t feel bad about using their time! they are there to give you info and you should go and take it! whenever i have a question even if i%26#039;m in just in the store looking with no intention to buy, i ask the girls there. i%26#039;m familiar with the girls who work at the MAC store nearby because i%26#039;m in there frequently lol.

its better to have a MUA match you then to go thru the frustration of trying to figure it out on your own when you don%26#039;t know how to do it.|||First go look at the maybelline makeup

They have the same color charting as covergirl. but they also have numbers like Light 1,2,3 medium 1,2,3 and Dark 1,2,3

Check out their colors and figure out which one is best 4 u

|||Go to the prescriptives counter in your local department store, they will color match your skin for free! They have dozens and dozens of colors and they can mix pigments to give you that perfect match.|||This is why I hate buying makeup from the drugstore. Go to a counter like Clinique where they can test on your jawline. You%26#039;ll have a better idea.|||revlon beyond natural,

it starts out white then it turns into your skin tone:)
