What type of skin condition could a child have that makes them break out day or night ?

A friend of mine has a 1yr old daughter that breaks out if she is outside day or night and the child can only wear cotton clothing. What is this condition called?|||eczema but the doctor will sometimes just call rashes contact dermatitis.|||Um, eczema?|||excema, its an allergic reaction mostly caused by lactose intollerance. a change of diet will help, consult a doctor.|||sensitive. they can only have certain materials on their skin, can be effected by laundry det (dye, colors, scents, etc), softners, shampoo%26#039;s, soaps, or something they are eating.

my kids were sensitive too; each was different. broke out until i figured out what it was. one was red dye in food, it took a long time for me to figure that one out.

mother of 4|||It could be eczema. My son has it. Or if it%26#039;s only outside, maybe it%26#039;s allergies. She should have the doctor look at it. My son uses prescription cortizone cream. You should use it sparingly and try not to use it everyday. My sons get worse in the summer. He%26#039;s 17 mo now but they first gave him the cream when he was about 7 months old. He usually breaks out on his face.
