What is the best foundation to use for an olive skin tone?

all the foundations i have used are either to dark, or to light. they are either too pink colored, or too tan. its frustrating.|||MAC!! they are fantastic for matching skin tones.|||I have the same problem. Clinique Superbalanced foundation in vanilla is the closest match i%26#039;ve come across so far. Rimmer Recover concealer in sand is also good. Or if u buy a foundation that is too light mix in a bit of fake tan to bring some colour back. Rimmel Sun Shimmer in medium is good or Maybelline Sun Glow|||tell me about it...im half brezilian and it%26#039;s imposible to find a good color that matches. but since i never could find the perfect one i just used pouders instead. and i also use the self tan glow lotion from jensen. it makes my skin a better color that matches more foundations.but a good foundation is l%26#039;oreal true match....|||You should use loreal paris true foundation line. They have different skin tone choices.Warm,nuetral,cool.And then they have the foundation shades for your skin tone. This foundation has the widest selection ive ever seen.|||Try using Bare Minerals. They are great. They have many different tones and have ones that would be perfect for you. Go to your nearest Sephora and ask to test it out on you.

If you go to Sephora and just ask them what foundation would look best on your skin, and tell them your problem..I%26#039;m sure that those talented makeup artists will find something PERFECT for your skin!

-- I just reccommmeeennnnd BareMinerals cause it is so light and airy, and good for your face!---

Hope I helped! =]|||You need to try one with warm, yellow undertones. Since you have a hard to match skin color, your best bet would be to try Loreal True Match, in the warm shades. Buy your foundation from CVS or Rite Aid. They have 100% satisfaction guaranteed cosmetics return policies, so you can return the foundation with the receipt even if you have already used some. That way you can try a few to get it right without wasting too much money.

If you are willing to spend a bit more, you can always go to the cosmetics counters in the mall and get matched to a foundation.

Hope this helps!|||I had the same problem and I came to realize I am allergic to cover girl, revlon, etc. So, I made an appt at a dept store with the makeup consultants. They helped me find the right colors...from foundation to lipstick. I know their make up is a little more expensive but once you find the right shade hopefully that will make it easier when looking at other brands. Hope this helps....
